Amy,
I should of hit the rack an hour ago, yet Nick said you were a talented writer and this is pure gold. As the father of three sons you brought back a flood of memories from the early years. I look forward to sharing with my bride. In the meantime know you're responsible for my lack of sleep. Well worth it in my book. Thanks and please never stop writing.

Oh, the joys of parenthood.

I've got one that may be equally as disturbing ... I had to pump in a "viewing room" at the funeral home just before my grandmother's funeral. Fortunately, they selected a room for me with no dead people in it, but it was sort of creepy and I'm sure my milk didn't let down too well that day.

And, I had to laugh at your story because we've all been there. Another favorite of mine occurred when I was a reporter for a daily newspaper. I was covering a murder case for the paper and went to the courtroom after a lunch break and the judge asked if my son enjoyed his sweet potatoes. I must have been bug-eyed because he started smiling. I was thinking he must have ESP or something b/c at lunch, I went to the daycare and fed my son his lunch. Apparently, while burping my son, he left some sweet potato remnants on my shoulder and down my back. Nice.
